| 中文描述 | 淚囊炎是指淚囊發炎的ㄧ種疾病，病患的會出現黏液樣，或黏液膿樣的眼分泌物。潛在的原因常是有異物存在於鼻淚管系統內所導致。先天的鼻淚管發育異常，或外傷性的鼻淚管系統阻塞，可能會出現類似淚囊炎的症狀。診斷的方式依據臨床症狀、對治療的反應、及淚囊鼻腔造影。罕見情形下，淚囊有可能惡化成一個膿腫。 |
| 英文描述 | Dacryocystitis is an inflammation of the lacrimal sac, characterized by a mucoid to mucopurulent ocular discharge. Underlying cause is often the presence of foreign bodies in the nasolacrimal system. Congenital anomalies or traumatic occlusion of the nasolacrimal system may mimic dacryocystitis. Dx depends on signs, response to treatment, and dacryocystorhinography. Rarely, lacrimal sac may abscess. |
