| 英文描述 | Microphakia is characterized by the presence of an abnormally small lens. It has been reported in association with multiple ocular anomalies in Beagles and St. Bernards. Congenital absence of the lens is very rare, but has also been reported in the St. Bernard with other ocular defects. Dx is based on age and ophthalmoscopic exam. Can occur as an isolated defect in horses, but usually associated with other anomalies. Rare in cats. |
