| 英文描述 | The ceroid lipofuscinoses are a group of inherited neurodegenerative lysosomal storage diseases in dogs and cats. There is brain atrophy and intracellular fluorescent storage cytosomes; the properties of the cytosomes resemble those of the lipopigments ceroid and lipofuscin. Clinical syndromes in dogs include a prepubertal-protracted disease in Dalmatian dogs; early adult course disease in several breeds; and adult onset in several breeds. Dx is made at necropsy, when lipopigment can be found in neurons and other tissues. |
