| 英文描述 | Strictures of the rectum and anus can occur in dogs and cats, and might be associated with chronic anorectal disease, anal sacculitis, or ingestion of foreign bodies. Congenital anal stenosis has been described in puppies. Dx is based on history, signs, rectal exam, and contrast enema. Proctoscopy may be useful. Animals often have difficult or painful evacuation of feces, and thin, ribbon-like stool. May demonstrate pain on a rectal examination. |
