| 英文描述 | ENCEPHALITOZOAN CUNICULI is an intracellular parasite described as a cause of disease in dogs and cats. Clinical signs were seen in puppies from the same litter in the first few months of life and in littermate kittens as well as an older cat. Nervous signs predominate in spite of the systemic nature of the disease. Dx by identification of the parasite in nervous tissue at necropsy, or culture of the organism, and signs. Subclinical infection has been reported in the dams of some clinically affected pups. |
