| 中文描述 | 姬螯蟎可以感染貓、狗、與人類，而引起輕微、非化膿性的皮膚炎，是一種重要的人畜共通傳染病。年輕的動物比較容易被感染，主要的病灶會出現在背部、臀部、與頭部。患部常出現大量皮屑；在狗常引起騷癢性的病灶，在貓則不會癢。診斷時須檢出蟎蟲。 |
| 英文描述 | Species of CHEYLETIELLA mites affect cats, dogs, and man, and be associated with a mild, nonsuppurative dermatitis. An important zoonosis. Young animals are more commonly affected, with lesions usually most prominent on the back, rump, and head. Often presents as a scurfy dandruff that is pruritic in dogs, but usually not as pruritic in cats. Dx is by demonstration of the mite. |
