| 英文描述 | Bilateral corneal opacities as a result of corneal dystrophy were reported in dogs. A 'milky' cornea becomes progressively more dense except a clear perilimbal zone. This material has been identified as calcium in dogs. Rarely, ulceration and scarring impairs vision. Opacities are symmetrical, and usually axial. Dx by signs, breed, histopathologic exam. Has been reported in the cat, but is rare; a progressive corneal dystrophy was reported in the Manx. |
