| 英文描述 | Members of the plant family ARACEA, which includes Dieffenbachia (Dumb Cane), Philodedrons, Caladium, Calla Lily, Skunk Cabbage, and Elephants Ears, are known to produce a glossitis-stomatitis syndrome felt to result from a protein-caused histamine reaction. Signs relate to irritation and swelling of the mouth and pharynx, and animals may drink large amounts in an attempt to wash out the irritant. Dx is based on the history. |
