| 中文描述 | 一些的原因如搔癢症的皮膚炎,或是因為環境改變所引起的焦慮,都會在貓身上導致過度的舔,咀嚼,或是拉扯皮毛的現象發生.而發生的地點大多位於一些比較常見的地方如,大腿內側,下腹部,腋窩,背部中央,尾巴,或是可能散佈較廣的範圍但多數都不是對稱性的脫毛症.診斷是藉由一些徵兆,病史,並且用刪去法去除掉一些無關的疾病.傷口的特徵是會出現紅色的斑點或是條紋.飼主可能會認為寵物是有搔癢症的. |

| 英文描述 | An inciting cause such as a pruritic dermatitis, other disease, or anxiety over changes in the environment may initiate excessive grooming, licking, chewing, and hair pulling in cats. May be localized with common sites being the inside thigh, abdomen and ventrum, axillary region, center of the back, and tail, or may be a more generalized but less severe symmetric alopecia. Dx by signs, history, rule-out of other causes. The characteristic lesion is a bright red patch or streak. Owner might think the amimal is pruritic. |
