| 英文描述 | Cats and dogs may be infected with MYCOBACTERIUM BOVIS, M.TUBERCULOSIS, M. AVIUM, or atypical mycobacteria such as M. FORTUITUM, M. GENAVENSE, M. SMEGMATIS, or other strains. Cats are more susceptible than dogs to M. BOVIS. Respiratory, gastrointestinal, skin, bone, ocular, neurologic, and skeletal lesions can occur. Dx is dependent on culture and identification of the organism. Intradermal skin testing is unreliable in the dog and cat. Pathologic fractures may occur with bone lesions. |
