| 中文描述 | 肝臟的膿瘍很少在貓出現,但是曾有在手術之前出現可以觸摸到的膿瘍.在狗也很少出現,但是肝的膿瘍在小狗是臍靜脈炎繼發性的,在成犬與肝外的感染或是外傷和腫瘤有關聯.診斷藉由觸診,超音波檢查,x光照相術.治療方法為外科手術的排放,如果膿瘍的位置和大小可以的話,或是由肝的肝小葉切除術. |

| 英文描述 | Hepatic abscesses are rarely reported in cats, but there is a report of a sterile abscess which was palpable prior to surgery. Also rare in dogs, but hepatic abscesses occur in puppies secondary to omphalophlebitis, and in adults in association with extrahepatic infection or hepatic damage due to trauma or neoplasia. Dx by palpation, ultrasonography, and radiography. Treat by surgical drainage when the size and location of the abscess permits or by hepatic lobectomy. |
