| 英文描述 | Lung lobe torsion is uncommon in the dog and cat. The right middle lobe is most commonly torsed, especially in large deep-chested breeds of dogs. Has been seen after trauma, surgery, and spontaneously. Hemoptysis and coughing can be seen in the dog, but are not prominent features in the cat. Dx by signs, radiology (pleural effusion, abnormal shape or position of affected lobe, consolidation), bronchoscopy, and surgical exploration. |
