| 中文描述 | 腎圓蟲和皺襞毛細線蟲是食肉動物的寄生蟲.有感染力的幼蟲在被被吃進去之後會遷移到腎臟.腎圓蟲可能會在剖腹手術中在腹腔看到其自由活動,而成熟的皺襞毛細線蟲會在膀胱和輸尿管出現.臨床的徵兆可能不是很明顯,而易出現診斷不慎經由驗尿或探究.腎功能不全通常起因於未感染腎臟的次級疾病,或者是若是兩側的腎臟都嚴重感染腎圓蟲可能會導致腎的肥大.診斷藉由驗尿看其中是否有卵的出現. |

| 英文描述 | DIOCTOPHYME RENALE and CAPILLARIA PLICA are parasites of carnivores. Infective larvae migrate to the kidney after ingestion. D. RENALE may also be seen free in the abdominal cavity on laparotomy, and adult C. PLICA exist in the urinary bladder and ureters. Clinical signs may be inapparent and diagnosed inadvertently with urinalysis or exploratory. Renal insufficiency usually results from secondary disease of uninfected kidneys or if both kidneys are heavily parasitized. D. RENALE may cause renal enlargement. Dx by demonstrating ova on urinalysis. |
