| 英文描述 | Renal ectopia is rare in the dog and cat. It has been observed in cats at necropsy, and has been reported in the dog. Although clinical signs are often not seen, inefficient drainage of the kidney may predispose to hydronephrosis, calculi, and pyelonephritis. Renal ectopia should be considered in the differential of caudal abdominal masses. Dx by laparotomy, radiography, or biopsy. |
