| 英文描述 | Rare. Torsion of the mesentery has been reported in the dog, where abdominal distension and shock are the predominant signs. Some affected dogs have had a history of exercise after eating, or a history of eating a large amount of food over a short period, but the torsion associated with pancreatic insufficiency is not related to exercise or feeding. There might be associated gastric volvulus. Cecal-colic volvulus was described in dogs. Mesenteric torsion has been reported in cats, but seems to be extremely rare. Dx by radiology and laparotomy. |
