| 英文描述 | Anterior uveitis is inflammation of the iris, choroid, and ciliary body. Posterior uveitis (choroiditis) and retinitis are usually seen together. Associated with trauma or systemic disease, or of unknown etiology. A syndrome of uveitis associated with neither systemic disorders nor infectious agents has been reported in Golden Retrievers. The most common causes of infectious uveitis in the cat are toxoplasmosis, FIP, FeLV, FIV, cryptococcosis, and histoplasmosis. Glaucoma, synechia, cataracts, and changes of iris pigmentation are possible sequelae. |
