| 英文描述 | This is a common malignant neoplasm that arises from squamous epithelial cells. It is more frequent in older animals and white cats (due to U-V light). Lesions are usually single and cats have a site predilection for ears, lips, nose, and eyelids. May appear as a nonhealing ulcer, or as a proliferative papillary mass that may ulcerate and bleed. Digital form often misdiagnosed as pyoderma or paronychia. Metastasis is uncommon, but locally invasive. Dx by histopathology. |
