| 英文描述 | Infection of the nose and sinuses due to fungal agents is uncommon, but should be considered when presented with an animal with persistent or intermittent nasal discharge. ASPERGILLUS seems to be the most common agent in dogs. PENICILLIUM and RHINOSPORIDIUM in dogs, CRYPTOCOCCUS in dogs and cats, and ALTERNARIA and PYTHIUM in cats have also been identified. Dx by endoscopy of nasal sinuses and culture of organisms. Usually unilateral. |
