| 英文描述 | Micrognathism is an extreme variance in size between the maxilla and mandible. This has been selected for in certain breeds, such as the Pug, and Boston Terrier, but occurs as a congenital defect in all breeds. Noticed in the first weeks of life, and results in prehension difficulty, chronic respiratory distress, and palatal trauma. Dx by signs. |
