| 英文描述 | A series of dogs was described in which sudden death was associated with hemorrhage into the involuting thymus. Most victims were under 2 years old. In an animal that survived, there were signs of blood loss associated with pain on compression of the cranial portion of the thorax and radiography showed a large cranioventral mediastinal mass. There was severe anemia and hypoproteinemia. Dx confirmed by a large blood filled thymus at necropsy in the absence of other causes of bleeding disease such as anticoagulent toxicity. |
