| 英文描述 | Persistent fasting hyperlipemia with no apparent cause has been reported in dogs, usually Miniature Schnauzers 4 years old or older, but this syndrome has also been seen in other breeds. Healthy Miniature Schnauzers can have fasting hyperlipidemia as an incidental finding; fasting serum triglyceride concentrations over 5.5 mmol/liter are considered to present a risk for development of clinical signs. Dx by demonstrating persistent fasting hyperlipemia, and rule-out of other causes such as pancreatitis, hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, hyperadrenocorticism, liver disease, pregnancy, drug induced, obesity, nephrotic syndrome, and gram-negative sepsis. |
