| 英文描述 | Rare. Usually presents as an acute abdomen in a monorchid or cryptorchid dog. The affected testicle is often neoplastic. Dx is based on history, signs, radiology, and exploratory laparotomy. Testicular torsion may cause shock and death, and the signs may resemble those caused by an intestinal foreign body. Treat by surgery. |
