| 英文描述 | Middle-aged to older dogs developed masses in the head or neck areas. Local excision of the lesions followed by histopathology showed that these masses were parotid or mandibular salivary glands that were enlarged as a result of infiltration by fat cells. The cause is unknown, and this does not appear to be a serious condition, but must be differentiated from salivary gland neoplasia. The prognosis is good following surgical removal (Brown et al.). |
