| 英文描述 | Necrotizing sialometaplasia is an ischemic disorder of the salivary glands which has many histologic features of neoplasia. On histology there is necrosis of salivary lobules with secondary proliferation of salivary ducts. Affects the mandibular salivary glands, usually in small-breed dogs. There is severe pain and freqent vomiting; the cause of vomiting in necrotizing sialmetaplasia is unknown. |
