| 英文描述 | A syndrome of polyarthritis in association with polymyositis has been seen in young adult dogs. The diagnosis was based on the clinical features of stiffness, joint swelling, joint pain, muscle atrophy, muscle pain and contracture, and the presence of chronic active inflammation in biopsies of muscle and synovium. Synovial fluid had high white counts, a preponderence of neutrophils, and a poor, friable mucin clot. There were soft tissue changes in two or more joints on radiography. The diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosis was excluded by the absence of circulating antinuclear antibody. |
