| 英文描述 | Laryngeal paralysis can be one sign of a more diffuse neuropathy. In addition to laryngeal problems there is often megaesophagus and muscle weakness. Diagnosis is by electromyography and histologic examination of nerves. This 'laryngeal paralysis-polyneuropathy complex' is probably inherited in some breeds of dog. The prognosis is guarded to poor. |
