| 英文描述 | Duodenal biopsy specimens from dogs can show diffuse, abundant gram-positive cocci adherent to the apical surfaces of villus enterocytes. This might be a unique cause of diarrhea in dogs. In 2 dogs with this lesion, there was a response to antibacterial therapy (Jergens et al.). This synodrome is distinct from the bacterial overgrowth syndrome that can cause diarrhea in dogs. Dx by biopsy of the small intestines. |
