| 英文描述 | Acromegaly is a disease due to growth hormone excess that is characterized by overgrowth of soft tissue. Clinically this appears as disproportionate increase in size of the head and limbs, thick coat, increased body weight, widened interdental spaces, and polyphagia. May be iatrogenic, associated with long term administration of progestogens. |
