| 英文描述 | SHIGELLA spp. are enterobacteria that cause a condition known as bacillary dysentery in humans and higher apes. Dogs are relatively resistant, but the condition has been reported. It is felt to be contracted in areas of high human incidence under conditions of poor sanitation. Dx is by demonstration of the organism on fecal culture. |
