| 英文描述 | ACANTHAMOEBA is a free-living ameba that can cause disease in dogs, particularly in greyhounds. A. CASTELLANI and A. CULBERTSONI have been found in canine infections. The clinical syndrome caused by this organism resembles canine distemper. Leukopenia is often present, but antemortem diagnosis is difficult; culture or biopsy of affected tissues could be attempted. |
