| 中文描述 | 除了品種培育所造成的脫毛，先天性毛髮缺少症在狗少見，可能與隱性基因突變有關，常發生在黑狗或是長有黑毛處，但不一定都是如此，二次感染及搔癢也可見。沒有感染的區域毛髮仍是正常的，在出生的前一個月狗仍是正常。可由症狀診斷之。許多品種的狗都可見。 |
| 英文描述 | Excepting breeds bred for alopecia, congenital hypotrichosis is rare in the dog and appears to be an autosomal recessive trait. Many dogs affected are black, and affected areas are often, but not always, black. Secondary infection and pruritus may occur in some cases. Coat is normal in unaffected areas. Dogs may appear normal for first month of life. Dx is by signs. Reported in several breeds of dog (Ihrke et al.). |
