| 英文描述 | Dogs ingesting the paintballs that are shot at contestants in paintball games can develop clinical signs. The paintball ingredients vary. Laboratory abnormalities seen in some affected dogs include hypernatremia, hyperchloremia, hypokalemia and acidosis. Little is known about the mechanism of action and lethal dose of paintballs, but signs in some cases began within an hour of ingestion. |
