| 英文描述 | This is a condition of apparent inspiratory difficulty in the dog. Characterized by noisy pharyngeal and nasal sounds which occur at random intervals. Cause is unknown, but may be associated with failure of disengagement of the epiglottis from the glottis after deglutition. The syndrome may regress spontaneously. Dx depends on history, rule-out of other causes. Dx by observation of the epiglottis when the animal is under light anesthesia has also been described (Leonard). Episodes usually last about one minute. |
