| 英文描述 | In large and giant breed dogs soft tissues over bony projections such as the elbow, sternum or hock are subject to repeated trauma when the animal lies on hard surfaces. Inflammation and edema of the soft tissue with the possible formation of a cystic swelling is typical of hygroma in these breeds. May be complicated by infection and ulceration. Pyoderma can develop in the folds of the swelling, with occasional fistulation. Elbow is the most common joint affected. |
