| 中文描述 | 後天性的水腦，是由於腦室周圍組織發炎，影響腦脊髓液排出所導致。也有可能是感染性的因子所導致，但確切的病源還不明。小狗新生兒時期表現正常，一直到2-6月齡，頭骨快速生長時發病，並出現神經症狀。診斷方式依據其臨床症狀、放射線學檢查以及組織病理學檢查。 |
| 英文描述 | In this disease an acquired hydrocephalus is associated with periventricular inflammation interfering with CSF drainage. An infectious cause is suspected, but etiology is unknown. It is distinct from parainfluenza-induced hydrocephalus, and toy breeds are not predisposed. Puppies are normal through early life, with onset at 2-6 months of rapid skull enlargement and neurologic signs. Dx by signs, radiology, and histopathology. |
