| 英文描述 | A duffuse progressive myelomalacia can occur in dogs, usually following an acute extrusion of an intervertebral disc, but in rare cases this may be associated with neoplastic cord compression, trauma, or be idiopathic. Ischemic and hemorrhagic infarction ascends and/or descends the cord causing lower motor neuron disease in its path. Death can occur due to respiratory paralysis. |
