| 英文描述 | Borreliosis is due to the spirochete BORRELIA BURGDORFERI. Affects multiple organ systems, and arthritis is a common problem. The spirochete may be cultured from blood or found using by darkfield microscopy or immunoperoxidase techniques on synovial fluid. Spread by ixodid ticks. Joint pain usually has a sudden onset. There is some evidence that this organism might be associated with renal disease in dogs. |
