| 英文描述 | Focal mucinosis is characterized by asymptomatic nodules, papules or plaques on the skin or oral mucosa of dogs. On histology there is an accumulation of mucin which disrupts and separates collagen fibers, mild to extensive fibroblast proliferation, and mild mononuclear cell infiltration. These are benign, and do not recur following surgical removal. A form of mucinosis characterized by numerous papules and plaques accompanied by crusting and a lack of fibroplasia histologically was reported in a puppy (Beale et al.). Dx by biopsy. |
