| 英文描述 | Inversion of the cecum into the colon, or cecocolic intussusception, is rare in the dog, but has been reported to mimic ileocolic intessusception or present as chronic diarrhea. Chronic cases may demonstrate weight loss and dehydration. The cecal mass might be palpable in the midventral abdomen. The combination of large and small bowel type diarrhea is a cue to this diagnosis. Dx confirmed by colonoscopy using a flexible fiberoptic endoscope or a barium enema. The barium filling defect has been described as having a 'coiled spring' appearance. |
