| 英文描述 | Metaplasia of the inner surface of the dura into bony plaques is common in dogs but rarely causes neurologic disease. Most common ventrally in the caudal cervical areas and the lumbar area in older dogs. Because this lesion so seldom causes clinical signs other causes of neurologic disease should be examined before making this diagnosis. Epidural calcinosis circumscripta has also been reported as a surgically reversible cause of neurologic disease disease in dogs (McEwan et al.). Dx by radiography and myelography. |
