| 英文描述 | Colonic perforation is a sporadic disease that may occur secondary to trauma, biopsy, or erosion by ulcers or neoplasia. It has also been described in dogs following prolonged corticosteroid therapy. This disease is usually rapidly fatal, even when the diagnosis is made antemortem. The perforation usually occurs on the antimesenteric border of the proximal descending portion of the colon when the perforation follows steroid therapy. Cecal perforation may also occur. |
