| 英文描述 | Proliferative (chronic active, granulomatous) urethritis has been described in female dogs and has clinical signs similar to those seen in dogs with urethral epithelial neoplasia. Histologic findings on samples obtained by aspiration biopsy of the urethra included aggregates of lymphocytes, plasma cells, and macrophages, with lesser, variable, numbers of neutrophils. The epithelium was mildly to moderately hyperplastic. This disease can be differentiated from neoplasia with some accuracy by cytologic examination of urethral aspirates but the final diagnosis requires surgical biopsy. |
