| 英文描述 | A young dog developed chronic, intermittent, rhythmic, vermicular (wormlike), undulating movement of both fore and hindlimb proximal muscle groups leading to collapse into lateral recumbency without loss of consciousness (Reading and McKerrell). Severe episodes leading to fore- and hindlimb extensor rigidity and recumbency were precipitated by stress or exercise. The animal responded to treatment with procainamide. The cause is unknown, but this resembles myokymia of humans. |
