| 英文描述 | Two dogs with steatorrhea, chronic diarrhea, weight loss and skin problems were determined to have a bile salt deficiency (Simpson and van de Broek), although there was debate over whether that had been proven (Hall et al.). Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency was ruled out; there was no jaundice nor was there a pale color of the stool, suggesting there was no obstruction to bile flow. There was a response to treatment with bile salts. Dx by ruling out other diseases and response to bile salt therapy. |
