| 中文描述 | 杜賓犬、大丹和其他大型犬可罹患這種上行神經元部份癱瘓和包含下肢的共濟失調。前肢可能出現伸展過度的步伐，或者在嚴重的病例可能有共濟失調和癱瘓。最常在年輕成長中的狗發現。診斷可依據品種、年齡、症狀、X光照影和脊髓照影。症狀可能是因為韌帶和脊椎的異常導致脊椎神經的壓迫，通常發生在6~8頸椎神經。 |
| 英文描述 | The Doberman, Great Dane, and other large breed dogs are affected by this upper motor neuron paraparesis and ataxia involving mainly the pelvic limbs. Thoracic limbs may have hypermetric gait or in severe cases also show ataxia and paresis. Most often seen in young growing dogs. Dx by breed, age, signs, radiography, or myelography. Signs referable to ligamentous or vertebral anomalies resulting in spinal cord compression, usually at C5, C6, or C7. |
