| 英文描述 | Mucocutaneous extramedullary plasmacytomas have occurred in dogs. They were most common in or around the mouth, on the feet or trunk, and in the ears. Although these are tumors of plasma cells, in almost all cases the tumors were confined to the skin and mucosa, without evidence of myeloma. Tumors did not recur after surgical removal (Rakich et al., Clark et al.). Typically red or ulcerated raised nodules, a few were polypoid. Unless the tumors were in locations such as the mouth or rectum, or were associated with other more generalized neoplasia, signs other than skin signs were uncommon. Dx by histology. |
