| 英文描述 | In cutaneous flushing, the skin turns varying shades of red due to vasodilation. An aged dog developed paroxysmal flushing of the skin of the head, neck and forelegs. There was no pruritus. The dog had radiographic evidence of intrathoracic masses; at necropsy a pulmonary adenocarcinoma and a mast cell tumor were seen. It appeared that the flushing was a cutaneous marker for the malignancy. When other causes of cutaneous flushing are elminated, the possibility of an unrecognized malignancy should be considered (Miller). |
