| 英文描述 | A kerion is an erythematous nodule which can occur with a dermatophyte infection, especially when the dermatophyte is geophilic. There may be a moist ulcerated area, which can be due to bacterial infection. Lesions sometimes resolve spontaneously. Usually on the muzzle or extremities. Dx by fungal culture or biopsy, or response to topical or systemic treatment for dermatophytes. |
