| 英文描述 | This disease is common in short-coated breeds, and occurs in young dogs from 3-12 months of age. May persist into maturity. Etiology is related to an increase in circulating androgens with hypertrophy and hyperplasia of sebaceous glands leading to bacterial action and comedone formation. Chin and lips are common sites. Mild unless persists to adulthood. Dx by history, age, and signs. |
