| 英文描述 | Pancreatitis is difficult to confirm in the live animal as elevations in pancreatic lipase and amylase in the blood are not fully reliable; pain on abdominal palpation is one of the most reliable signs. Can be rapidly fatal. Can be idiopathic or secondary to trauma, including surgery. Shock and DIC with multisystemic illness occurs rarely. Can become chronic. Pancreatic pseudocysts, abscesses, or necrotic masses occur in some cases. |
